What if I have a gift card? Do I still need to put down a deposit for my reservation?

Yes, the deposit is a security on your booking in case you cancel last minute or don’t show up for your reservation. If you have a gift card, and the value of the gift card plus your deposit exceeds your total bill, we will return the deposit to you and charge you the balance.

Will my giftcard still be valid after you move?

Yes! Any closure time we will incur due to the move, will be added to the validity of your giftcard. Since we will be closed for a total of 6 months, your giftcard will be valid for 2 years and 6 months from the purchase date. Please send us an email so we can update the expiration date of your gift card in our system.

When will you release the reservations online?

Reservations will be released on May 27th, 2024. Newsletter subscribers receive 24 hours priority access to reservations. Sign up right here.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

With at least 48 hours advance notice, we are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies, but we are unable to accommodate changes without the required notice. 

When given the required notice we are able to meet restrictions such as vegetarian or pescatarian, but we may not be able to accommodate certain compound dietary restrictions or allergies.

There are some elements we are unable to remove from our menu: oils, vinegars, alliums infused in stocks or sauces, along with mushrooms or alliums on vegetarian menus.

We cannot accommodate strict halal and kosher diets, or comprehensive diet programs such as FODMap diets and low sugar diets.

If you have severe allergies or compound restrictions, please email us prior to completing your reservation so we can confirm whether or not we are able to modify your menu.

What if I show up late for my booking?

Your reservation guarantees the table for 3 hours from your booking time. If you, or members of your party, show up late, we will do everything we can to accommodate, but the booking time stands.

Can I show up early for my booking?

We ask that you do your best to not show up more than 15 minutes early for your reservation.

What do I do if I want to cancel? Can I get my deposit back?

If you would like to cancel, and are outside of the 48 hour cancellation window, please contact the restaurant directly by email and we will happily refund your deposit.

If you cancel within 48 hours of arrival, the deposit paid is non-refundable.

How can I reschedule my booking?

You can reschedule your reservation one time without loss of deposit up until 48 hours prior to your reservation. If you would like to reschedule, and are outside of the 48 hour cancellation window, please contact the restaurant directly by email or reschedule through Tock.

Do you accommodate kids?

Children are welcome at Alouette, but please know that we have only one menu available, and there are no children’s options. As such, if you book for 4 guests, but the 2 children do not eat, you will still be charged for their menus.

We are able to cater to children’s allergies with advance notice. When you make your booking, please be sure to list their allergies and we will prepare for their menus accordingly.
